Chub Frank Racing BEAR LAKE, Penn. (July 14) - Lester Buildings is going to make some Chub Frank fans very happy.
Beginning with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series event on Mon., July 21, at Boone County Speedway in Albion, Neb., and continuing for four more events in the coming weeks and months, Lester Buildings will reach out to Frank's fans with a prize-filled promotion.
Lester Buildings, which has become well-known as the primary sponsor of Chub Frank Racing, will set up displays at each event that are staffed by local dealers and feature Frank's familiar No. 1* dirt Late Model. Fans will have an opportunity to stop by the displays to inquire about special discounts on Lester Buildings orders, obtain free Chub/Lester posters and enter free drawings to win valuable prizes, including BP gas cards and Chub Frank items.
"We really appreciate Chub's passion, professionalism and his consistent high performance level," said Lester Buildings Marketing Director Tom Borgman. "We couldn't ask for a better spokesperson and look forward to solidifying our relationship with him and this growing grassroots sport.
"With that in mind, we thought it was high time that we did something special for Chub's legion of fans, so that's why we're offering this special promotion at selected events throughout the remaining 2008 schedule."
Three 'Grand Prizes' - BP gas cards worth $500, $250 and $100 - will be awarded at each event. Three second-prize winners will receive 1/24th-scale diecasts models of Frank's dirt Late Model, and five third-prize winners will receive Chub Frank Racing caps.
Fans can enter the contests at the Lester Buildings display on July 21 at Boone County Speedway; July 27 at Eriez Speedway in Hammett, Pa. (WoO LMS); Aug. 30-31 at Tri-City Speedway in Franklin, Pa. (WoO LMS Oil Region Labor Day Classic); Sept. 5-6 at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio (UMP DIRTcar-sanctioned World 100); and Oct. 30-Nov. 1 at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C.
The special promotion for Chub's fans was announced during his visit on July 10 to the Lester Buildings Corporate Headquarters in Lester Prairie, Minn. Chub stopped at the facility after competing the previous night in the opening event of the WoO LMS 'Wild West Tour' at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn.
Chub spent two hours at the Corporate Headquarters. He toured the company's plant, participated in a meet-and-greet with corporate employees and displayed his dirt Late Model in the parking lot.
