Dave Seay HAMPTON, Va. (February 15) - The Dirt Nation™ Live presented by Lucas Oil radio show on Monday evening February 18th presents a jaw dropping, fist pumping, controversial lineup of guests and celebrities from the world of dirt racing.
Last week's show opened our eyes to the fact that we need to focus on the issues, good or bad, of our beloved sport. So without further ado… it's time to get down to business!
Put the kids to bed early and get ready for a no holds barred interview as Dirt Nation™ Live will spotlight National Radio Host Bubba the Love Sponge of Tampa, FL. Bubba joins the show for an extended interview to talk about his dirt racing, his love for the sport and to answer your questions. Bubba is a former 360 Sprint Car Champion at Jacksonville (FLA) Raceway but now is concentrating on dirt late models. Bubba the Love Sponge can be heard on Sirius Satellite Channel Howard 101 from 3 - 7pm and on terrestrial radio in the morning drive slot on WHPT-102.5 FM (The Bone) in Tampa and WFYV-104.5 FM in Jacksonville, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. You can also catch Bubba on his website www.btls.com. Bubba pilots the Keith Nosbisch owned Rocket Dodge Charger #101 sponsored by Miller Lite, Mopar, ProSource.net, Supreme Protein Bars, Oakley and VP Racing Fuels.
Dirt Nation™ Live will also spotlight two time Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Champion Earl 'The Hurricane' Pearson Jr. of Jacksonville, FL. Pearson will join the show to talk about his start to the 2008 season and the tire controversy that came out of Golden Isle Speedway. "EJP" pilots the Bobby Labonte Racing owned; Larry Wallace Engines powered MasterSbilt Dodge Charger #44 sponsored by LifeLong Locks, Lucas Oil, Mopar, Sunoco Race Fuels, Allstar Performance, Tiger Rear End, BERT, Butlerbuilt, Hyperco, SHY, Wilwood, Woodward, TWM, Dyers Top Rods, Weld, Hoosier Tire, PRC, Wrisco, Sparco, Bell, Mechanix Wear, Oakley, Cheerios, Coke, Dunn-Benson Racing Supply, ASI Racewear, WRT Web Designs, The Decal Source, Rick Schwallie Photography and WD Enterprises.
Making a first time visit to Dirt Nation™ Live will be Advance Auto Parts Sprint Car Series competitor Kraig Kinser of Cornelius, NC. Kinser, the son of 20 time World of Outlaws Champion Steve Kinser, teamed up with Tony Stewart racing for 2008 to make a run at the World of Outlaws Championship. Kinser, the 2005 Knoxville Nationals Champion, pilots the Tony Stewart Racing owned; Kistler powered Maxim #20 sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, J.D. Byrider and Chevrolet.
Dirt Nation™ Live will also introduce a new fan interactive segment called "Nation Unscripted" which will give fans of the Dirt Nation Army the opportunity to the current issues in dirt racing.
Look for more changes in the coming weeks to the Dirt Nation™ Live show, website, and attitude. We drank the Kool Aid for too many years and now it's our turn to mix a drink or two.
