RINGGOLD, Ga. (October 1) - SKIP ARP (# 97) of Georgetown, TN wins a NON-STOP Green to Checkered Flag 40 lapper. Took the lead from pole-sitter (his apprentice) Kevin Gibson (# M45) on lap ten and hides from Mike Weeks (#22) for the rest of the feature. Weeks loses 2nd to 12th starting Riley Hickman (# R1) coming off of turn four of the final lap. Ray Cook steal 4th from Randy Weaver in the closing laps. Arp wins by over a half-track at the finish
