SUMMERTOWN, Tenn. (January 27) - The Southern Regional Racing Series is proud to announce the addition of 5 new races at Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, TN.
This track is home to regular drivers of the SRRS including the 2009 Champion Jay Brinkley who holds the fastest time of 11.161; Cale Finley 2007 Super Late Model Champion; Josh Putnam 2007 Late Model Stock/Crate Champion and many wins by other drivers.
Thunderhill is a 1/4 mile inside - 1/2 mile outside, 33 degree high banked, oval, clay surface track.
"The high banking at Thunderhill allows the ability to pass and makes a multi groove surface for good racing" says Josh Putnam. We hope all of you will join us this season.
