Brian Garrison POCOLA, Okla. (October 16) - Two-time and defending Race Brothers Farm and Home Supply Show Me Racing Series Champion Justin Wells of Aurora, MO led all 25 laps enroute to a $1,000 payday and in the process wrapping up this 3rd Show Me Racing Series title. Previously Wells picked up the inaugural title in 2004 and then again in 2009. Wells, a former two-time IMCA National Champion also claimed eight feature wins this season and now has 31 career victories overall.
Larry Campbell of Van Buren, AR had accumulated the most passing points through the heat races, but after the top 8 redraw found himself starting outside front row. Campbell spent the entire race trying to track down Wells, but ultimately settled for second. Randy Zimmerman of Ft. Scott, KS finished third and Ken Essary of Cape Fair, MO and Colton Dunlap of Muskogee, OK rounded out the top five. Dunlap also secures the 2010 Rookie of the Year title with his top five finish.
