POCOLA, Okla. (July 18) - The Race Brothers Show-Me Racin' Series was in action at Tri-State Speedway after a few weeks off. Twenty late models pulled into pits all hoping to leave with the big check. The grand stands were full of fans that were in for a spectacular A main. After an exciting caution-free thirty laps, it was Justin Wells who came away with the win.

The drivers lined up in their cars for the three qualifying heat races. The 1c of Chris Deaton took first in heat one. Heat two was won by the 98 of Justin Wells. And Rick Lebow in the 33 won the third and final heat of the night.

After a brief intermission with an autograph session, all twenty cars lined up on the front stretch for driver introductions before the A main. They made the traditional four-wide salute to the fans, then were ready for the thirty lap main event to begin. The green flew, but a caution was immediately thrown for a car jumping the start. They lined back up, the green flag dropped once again and the 73 of Bill McMurtrie jumped out to the lead. The 15c of Larry Campbell was making his way towards McMurtrie to challenge him for the lead. The 98 of Wells was making his way towards the front. Wells finally took over the lead and began pulling away. He maneuvered his way through the lap traffic as the 15c of Campbell and 5 of Leslie Essary were working to catch him. Everyone was battling for every position and doing the best they could to cut down the lead Wells in the 98. Wells was flying around the track and continuing to lap the field. He had made his way up to mid pack when the white flag was thrown. The 15 of Campbell was still in second, but Wells was too far ahead. He came away with his fourth win of the 2009 season. The top five were Justin Wells in the 98, Larry Campbell in the 15c, Leslie Essary in the 5e, Bill McMurtrie in the 73, and Ken Essary in the 55.
