SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. (June 20) - The Race Brothers Farm and Home Supply Show-Me Racin' Series went south near Siloam Springs, AR at West Siloam Speedway on Saturday June 20. Twenty-three drivers made the haul down to West Siloam all vying for the $1000 grand prize. The stands were packed by excited fans ready to see the Show-Me boys in action in their one and only stop at the Siloam Speedway. When the checkered flag was finally thrown, it was the 5 of Leslie Essary who would take his first win of the 2009 Show-Me Racin' Series season. Heat races began the night of racing. The first heat was won by the Flyin' Farmer, Ken Essary, in the 55. The 15h of Kevin Henson won the second late model heat of the night. The third and final heat race was won by the 98 of Justin Wells.

After a brief intermission the cars were lined up and ready for the twenty-five lap A Feature. Fans lined up along the fence to cheer for their favorite driver during driver introductions. The drivers made the parade lap for the fans while fireworks were shot off signaling the night's main event. The 25b of Chris Morelock and the 50 of Kathy Tonoli would set the pace from the front row. The green dropped and it was the 25b who would jump out into the lead. The 73 of Bill McMurtrie and the 50 of Tonoli were right behind him. Rick Lebow in the 33 and Larry Campbell in the 15c were charging towards the front. By lap five Leslie Essary in the 5 had made his way from seventh to fourth and was making his run to the front. The 55 of Ken Essary was coming towards the front hard and strong with point leader, Justin Wells in the 98, right behind him. The 25b of Morelock and the 73 of McMurtrie began catching lap traffic when the red flag was thrown for the 26 of Brad Cook on lap nine. On the restart the 25b managed to hold onto the lead, but now the 5 of Leslie was in second. On lap twelve, the 5 took over the lead. The 55 and 98 were following behind him and making their runs for the top position. On lap fifteen the yellow caution flag flew for the 2p of Mark Penticuff on the front stretch. Leslie Essary, Ken Essary, Wells, Morelock, and Campbell rounded out the top five. Only ten laps left and it was going to be a great race to the finish. The green fell once again and the 5 kept his position and maintained his lead. The cars in mid pack were racing hard for each position. Everyone was determined to get that next position. The final caution of the night was brought out for the 2a of Tim Adams in turn four on lap twenty-one. It would be a four lap dash to the finish. The 5 was able to hold off the final tries from the 55 to take the checkered flag and snag his first win of the 2009 season. The top five were the 5 of Leslie Essary, the 55 of Ken Essary, the 98 of Justin Wells, the 25b of Chris Morelock, and the 15c of Larry Campbell.
