CLEVELAND, Tenn. (March 20) - Jonathan Davenport of Blairesville, Georgia did the unthinkable Saturday night at the Cleveland (TN) Speedway. The driver known as the BLAIRESVILLE ASSASSIN or SUPERMAN in racing circles around the country, not only took the $10,000 pot o' gold from track owner/promoter Monty Morrow, but did it with fan favorite and the most winningest driver at Cleveland Speedway, Dale McDowell breathing down his neck lap after lap. Davenport, who'se won two $10,000 to-WIN events so far in March, took the lead from the outside front row starting position and kept McDADDY at bay for 60 circuits. The races only caution was for the events fast qualifier Ray Cook whom blew while racing for 7th on lap 13. Polesitter Chris Wall rallied to 4th at the finish just ahead of 2009 GOBBLER winner Chris Madden and just behind Jimmy Owens. Event Images
