Roby Helm CARTERSVILLE, Ga. (January 13) - The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Touring 50-lap $3,000-to-win event scheduled for this Friday and Saturday with the Winter Bash at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS has been postponed until February 12-13.
A weather forecast showing a high probability of rain on Saturday and on the rain date of Sunday forced series and track officials to postpone the 50-lap $3,000-to-win Winter Bash until February 12 and 13.
"It's important for any promoter to begin their season on a good note financially, and Rodney Wing at Whynot Motorsports Park understands this, so we agreed this postponement, given the weather forecast, would be the best decision to make," NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Founder and Director Mike Vaughn said. "The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series and Whynot Motorsports Park want to give both the fans and competitors the best possible show that we can."
