WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (September 18) - Just twenty-four hours after claiming his first COMP Cams MSRA win of 2010, Jessie Stovall from Galena, Missouri doubled his pleasure by taking the $3,500 winner's check in the 4th Annual Bartlett Hardwood Floor Service Midsouth Dirt Track Championship.

A record turnout of 41 Super Late Models entered the event at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas), which boasted the largest purse in the history of tour.

Stovall began the night by advancing from ninth to second in his heat race to capture the JFR Graphics Pole Position for the feature, and also received $100 cash courtesy of Woody Hampton Photos for his efforts. He was joined on the front row by young star, Austin Rettig.

The 40 lap affair would be caution-plagued as a lightning fast service that was laden with moisture greeted the competitors. Stovall bolted to the lead at the drop of the green flag with Rettig, Stacy Taylor, Robert Lovette, and Jeff Floyd in tow. The first ten laps of the race would see the yellow flag displayed several times, and by the time that lap 10 arrived, Stovall was still the leader, but Bill Frye, Rettig, Bub McCool, and Jeff Floyd had assumed the top running spots.

With the exception of the top three runners the remainder of the event would turn into a survival test for competitors throughout the pack, and when the checkered flag dropped it was Stovall claiming his second win in as many nights over Frye, Rettig, Dean Carpenter, and Billy Moyer Jr.

Heat races were won by Austin Rettig, Jeff Floyd, Bo Gordon, Bill Frye, and Robert Lovette.

The three b-mains were won by Shane Stephens, Bub McCool, and Jon Kirby.

Dean Carpenter was the Larry Shaw Race Cars Hard Charger after advancing from his 20th starting position to a 4th place finish.

The Quartermaster Hard Luck Award went to Eddie Provence, who received heavy damage in his heat race, bringing his night to an early end.

Bobby Martin sponsored $100 to the first non-qualifier in each b-main with Curtis Cook, Brandon Smith, and Jamie Dacus being the recipients.

The COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model tour has one event remaining on the 2010 docket as it travels to the New West Plains Speedway (West Plains, Missouri) on Saturday, October 2nd for the 20th Annual Kuntz & Co. Race Engines Fall Nationals presented by Colton's Steakhouse. For more information on the event, please visit www.WestPlains-Speedway.com and www.MSRADirt.com .
