GREENWOOD, La. (July 16) - Kenny Merchant became the fifth different winner on the COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model tour in 2010 by completing a late race pass of Ray Moore to take the win at Boothill Speedway in Greenwood, Louisiana.

After seeing the event's original date rained out, the tour returned to the ¼ mile oval on Friday night, July 16th with 28 Super Late Models entering the event. Lee Davis from Greenwood, Louisiana started the night by earning the JFR Graphics Pole Position, and he was joined on the front row by Ray Moore.

Moore would take control of the lead as the race went green and would enjoy the lead for the first 28 laps before fourth starting, Kenny Merchant, used a strong move down the back stretch in lapped traffic on lap 28 to take the lead. The Ruston, Louisiana driver would go on to lead the last lap and a half to take his first COMP Cams MSRA win of the year and second of his career. Ray Moore, David Ashley, Bill Frye, and Jody Prince rounded out the top five finishers.

Heat races were won by Kenny Merchant, Rob Litton, Bill Frye, and Jon Mitchell. Brandon Smith and Timothy Culp topped the twin b-mains.

Kyle Beard was the Larry Shaw Race Cars Hard Charger.
The Quartermaster Hard Luck Award went to Wesley Crutchfield, who battled mechanical issues all night and failed to transfer to the feature.
