As the Lucas Oil MLRA 2010 championship points race winds down, the top three drivers continue to battle, changing positions yet again tonight. Brad Looney secured the top place in championship points from his second place finish. Looney holds a four point lead over Dave Eckrich, who came into tonight's race in the top position. Al Purkey remains in the third spot behind Eckrich by only two points.

Heat winners were Brad Looney, Al Purkey, Matt Johnson and race winner Jeremy Payne. Alan Vaughan was a scratch after not having oil pressure during hot laps. Vaughan suffered from similar issues last weekend but held on to a top five finish.

Jeremy Payne's Terry Phillips Autosports GRT Racing Chassis is powered by a Hatfield Racing Engine with sponsorship support from Andy's Frozen Custard, New Vision Graphics, Integra Racing Shocks, and Port City Racing.
