PHILLIPS CROWNED KING OF THE HILL IN MLRA ACTION AT JUNCTION MOTOR SPEEDWAY

MCCOOL JUNCTION, Neb. (August 2) - Terry Phillips takes the Saturday night win in night two of the "King of the Hill" weekend at Junction Motor Speedway. Phillips started on the inside of the fifth row after finishing second, to Gary Webb, in his heat race and took his number 75 GRT by Phillips, Andy's Frozen Custard and Don Bab Motorsports sponsored car to victory circle. Phillips made the pass of Kyle Berck with 18 of the 35 laps left in the feature. The only caution came with 3 laps remaining but Phillips was able to hold off a hard charging John Anderson to take the win. Berck finish third, Jeremy Payne fourth and Kelly Boen came home in fifth.

A 26 car feature started the A main of the 48 car field for the event.
