O'REILLY MLRA THUNDER TOUR JACK VAUGHN MEMORIAL MOVED FROM MAY 3RD TO MAY 17TH

BUCKNER, Mo. (April 22) - The O'Reilly MLRA presented by Lucas Oil has announced that the Jack Vaughn Memorial Race originally scheduled for May 3rd at the Adrian Speedway has been rescheduled for May 17th. "Out of consideration for the Vaughn family, who were unable to attend the race as originally scheduled, we felt it best to move this race to another date" stated MLRA Promoter Harriet Chancellor.

The next stop on tour will now be on Wednesday night, May 7th at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas which will feature NASCAR Sprint Cup star Clint Bowyer dropping in to challenge the MLRA regulars. This will be followed up by the highest paying event of the year as the $40,000 to win Diamond Nationals, co-sanctioned by the MLRA takes place on May 9th-10th at The Lucas Oil Speedway.

The month of May will wrap up with the annual Alphabet Soup race at the I-80 Speedway at Nebraska Raceway Park in Greenwood, Nebraska on Sunday night May 25th as part of the Memorial Day Weekend festivities.
