CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (March 12) -  Eric Turner of Hermitage, MO raced flag to flag from the pole position to capture the $3,000 feature victory on the first night of the annual 'Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic' doubleheader on Friday night at Clarksville Speedway. Teenaged driver Gary Christian of Broken Bow, OK crossed the finish line in second followed by Brian Shirley of Chatham, IL. Cunningham, TN drivers Charles Zimmerman and Steven Ashby rounded out the top five positions.  Event Images

Ashby was the fastest qualifier of the 35 entries. Heat race winners included Turner, Christian, Duane Chamberlain of Richmond, IN and defending Series champion Terry Phillips of Springfield, MO. Terry English of Benton, KY and Ryan Unzicker of El Paso, IL won the B-Main events.

The Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic concludes on Saturday with $6,000 on the line for the feature winner. Gates will open at 4pm and hot laps at 6pm with racing at 7pm. (Rained out, rescheduled for April 17)
