MUSKOGEE, Okla. (April 24) - Jeremy Payne of Springfield, MO took the lead on the first lap and never looked back as he picks up his first MARS win of the 2009 season at the Outlaw Motor Speedway in Muskogee, OK.
The races only caution came on lap 30 when Tony Jackson Jr. and Dan Pablo got together and spun coming out of turn 2, setting up a 5 lap shoot out for the $2,500 top prize. Vaught would take second place from Phillips on the restart but fell short on catching Payne at the finish line.
Eric Turner was the highest finishing rookie as he started 15th and finished 7th in the final rundown.
The stars and cars of the O'Reilly MARS DIRTcar Series will be in action this Sunday April 26th at the Monett Speedway in Monett, MO.
