RINGGOLD, Ga. (March 18) - Like the locomotive thats UNSTOPPABLE, Jason Welshan (# 29) from Maryville, Tennessee topped for the second consecutive time this season the Boyd's Speedway Friday night Crate Late Model field. His second $800. payday came at the best of 2010 hotshoe SPANKY Jeff Smith of Villanow, GA, as well as the Legend, the Man, the Myth the CHATTANOOGA FLASH Ronnie Johnson . Welshan won his preliminary heat race before sweeping the 20-lap "A" Main feature which had a stout field of competition (nearly 20-cars) taking The Team-Kile yellow # 29 "ALOT LESS Factory Outlet, Jon's Golfcarts, Advantage Check Cashing, Ronald Sexton Construction Co, Smith's Auto Sales and Centerline Construction" sponsored WEEKS chassised / GM Performance 604 to victory lane.

"Boyd's is such a great place to race..." stated Welshan Saturday "we don't feel the need to travel all over, even when there is larger paying races. I like being able to get back home and get ready for the next race." Welshan commented on getting ready for his home tracks opener and their special NeSmith Crate LM special coming up in the next two weeks at Smokey Mtn Speedway. "... but other than that we'll be back here (BOYD's), the Harvey's and Gar (D!ckson) are always very nice folks to race for." Behind Welshan, Smith and RJ were Kayne Hickman, Jerry Coffman and 2010 Volunteer Series SLM champion THE MILKMAN Mike Weeks respectfully. Welshan continued thru the 3rd weekend of March with a Top-5 on Saturday at Cleveland Speedway and was the races highest finishing Crate LM powered racer in the 30 lap "A" Main.
