MADRAS, Ore. (September 11) - Brady Sell continues hot streak picking up 3rd win in 4 races on DAA Touring Spec Motor Series at Madras Speedway.
Race highlights:
Caution 1 when Steve Moore and Russ Sell get together in turn 1. Pole starter Brady Sell got the jump over Billy Workman Jr at the start of the 40 lap DAA NW feature, at the caution Sell was followed by Joey Tanner, Tim Goodwin, Kevin Keeney, Justin Dittman, Billy Workman Jr, Jerry Schram, Jason Wines, Robbie Ireland, Britton Danahoo, and Jim Peterson.
As the field took the green coming out of turn 4 Jeff Biffle with no power steering spins and stops sideways on front stretch bringing out the caution flag.
Brady Sell still leading followed by Joey Tanner, Tim Goodwin, Kevin Keeney, Justin Dittman, Billy Workman Jr, Jerry Schram, Jason Wines, Robbie Ireland, Britton Danahoo, and Jim Peterson.
Just 3 laps later Brady Sell and Tim Goodwin were racing each other hard for the lead when Goodwin gets into the back of the Sell coming out of turn 4 causing Sell to spin out of front straightaway bringing out another caution flag, as the field made several laps under caution the DAA Series Officials sent Goodwin to tail and gave Brady Sell back to the lead.
Running order: Brady Sell, Joey Tanner, Billy Workman Jr, Justin Dittman, Jerry Schram, Robbie Ireland, Kevin Keeney, Jason Wines, Britton Danahoo, Steve Moore, Brittany Ray, Jim Peterson.
Caution 4 on lap 16 Britton Donahoo coming off turn 4 bounces off the front stretch wall and collects Brittany Ray and Jim Peterson, the 3 cars would stopped on front stretch all wedged together. Donahoo with heavy damage heads to the pits for repairs and would return laps down while the field was back under racing, both Ray and Peterson suffered heavy sheet metal damage but would continue.
Joey Tanner stopped in turn 4 to bringing out last caution on lap 31 with a flat tire. Tanner went to the pits and his crew changed the flat while the field remained under the caution.
Running order at the caution: Brady Sell, Tim Goodwin, Justin Dittman, Jason Wines, Billy Workman Jr, Steve Moore, Jerry Schram, Robbie Ireland.
Tim Goodwin came back through the field and had taken second back from Justin Dittman just before the caution flag.
