COOS BAY, Ore. (September 5) - Tim Goodwin from Lebanon, Ore. would take the lead at the start but was quickly slowed on lap 2 for the a caution after Britton Danahoo and Brandon Biffle tangled in turn 2, both cars were damaged beyond repair to continue.

Running order at the caution was Goodwin, Ferrando, Walters, Gage, Tanner, James, Ireland, Schram, Workman, R. Sell, B. Sell, Keely and Ray.

Greg Walters would take 2nd from Ferrando on the restart but 3 laps later Ferrando would take the spot back.

The field would single line for most of the race as it was a dry slick one groove racetrack.

Russ Sell would bring out the final caution flag on lap 37 after spinning coming out of turn 4, Goodwin still leading with Ferrando, Walters, Wines, James rounding out the top 5.

On the restart Goodwin slid up high in turns 1 and 2 making contact with 3rd place running Walters which quickly handed the lead over the Ferrando,  Tanner in the mix up moved up into 3rd, Ferrando would go on and lead the final 2 laps of the 40 lap feature picking up his first win of the 2010 season.

Jason Wines finished 2nd giving him the leftcoastmotorsports.com hard charger award, Joey Tanner driving a Greg Walters back up car finished 3rd. Goodwin subbing in Jimmy Schram #22s late model finished 2 laps down and was credited with a 14 place finish, Wines 2nd place finish tied him with Walters for the DAA 2010 drivers championship as the series moves onto Madras Speedway Saturday September 11th.

Mike Gage from Coos Bay finished 13th and was the last car on the lead lap, late arrival Brittany Ray transferring out of the 20 lap consolation race finished 12th.

Russ Sell after winning the dash rolled a 6 to invert the feature six rows back putting Goodwin and Ferrando on the front row.
