LEBANON, Ore. (August 21) - Jason Wines picked up second DAA NW Spec Motor touring win as the series visited Willamette Speedway on Saturday night.

Feature race notes:
Caution on the start when contact was made between several cars, Steve Moore suffered heavy damage to the front end of his car, the crew removed the nose piece and he continued for a few laps until pitting so his crew could install a temporary nose piece under the green flag.
Complete Restart:

Caution 1 for single car spin of Bob Trout in turns 1& 2 who tangled with the inside wall, he would continue after the body work was pulled out.

Red flag on lap 23 when Russ Sell flipped on front stretch in a multi car incident, involved with damage was Justin Dittman DNF, Steve Suckow DNF after his car had contact on the track and came into the infield making contact with the front of a wrecker, Jimmy Schram DNF multi damage front and rear, and Russ Sell DNF after turning over.
Running order: Jason Wines, Jeremy Shank, Joey Tanner, Greg Walters, Terry Ferrando, and Britton Danahoo.

The field was given the one to go after the red flag, when they came around to take the green the flagmen didn't like the start and did not throw the flag, several cars received damage from the accordion effect of the front cars starting and slowing, Bob Boyd's car suffered heavy front end body work damage.

When the red was lifted and the track went to caution track officials announced that the race would be cut back to 30 laps from the scheduled 40 laps due to the 11:00 PM curfew.

The race was restarted with 5 laps to go but the last caution flag came out on lap 29 for debris on the track, the flagmen displayed the checkered flag when the field came around on the 2nd lap under the caution.

Billy Workman Jr qualified his topohillrv.com open late model 4th fast and won both the open dash and the DAA NW spec motor series dash.

leftcoastmotorsports.com hard charger award: Terry Ferrando from Keizer, Ore. started 14th and finished 5th.

All cars from 11th back finished at least one lap down. Steve Moore finished last as he went laps down while in the pits as his crew put on a temporary nose piece.

Jason Wines picks up the win at his hometown track located in Lebanon, Ore. and is sponsored by Kartco Racing, Schram Brothers Excavating, Lebanon Auto Body and Prime X contracting.

The series next race will be Saturday August 28, 2010 at Grays Harbor Raceway located in Elma, Washington.
