LEBANON, Ore. (June 26) - Jerry Schram from Vancouver, WA. picked up his first main event on the DAA NW Spec Motor Series at Willamette Speedway Lebanon, OR.

Jerry Schram starting on the front row took the led at the start, he went directly to the bottom, Billy Workman JR from Canby, OR. rim riding around the top challenged Schram for several laps and got by to lead for a short time, Schram persistent on the bottom would come back after finding some moisture late, Workman got into the fence knocking off the spoiler after jumping the cushion and would fade late to finish 8th. The field was slowed 4 times for cautions, Brandon Biffle got put into the backstretch wall, another caution for debris and the last when Joey Tanner was tagged and sent to the outside wall in turn 3 collecting Steve Moore, both Moore and Tanner were damaged beyond repair to continue. The 40 lap race win paid Jerry Schram a $1,000.00, Terry Ferrando finished 2nd and Jason Wines 3rd, the top three all driving Mastersbilt chassis.

The DAA Northwest Series returns to Sunset Speedway Park - Banks, Oregon on both July 3rd and 4th.

Wines takes the first annual Clair Arnold Memorial May 30th make up race

Lebanon, OR - Jason Wines from Lebanon, Oregon takes the first annual Clair Arnold Memorial DAA NW spec series May 30th make up race at Willamette Speedway.

The 40 lap feature originally started on May 30th going only 7 laps when the red came out after Russ Sell flipped in turns 1&2, during the clean up a heavy down pore fell over the track and officials postponed the event until June 26th when the series would be back at Willamette Speedway.

The race was restarted at lap 7, Russ Sell was allowed to re-start at the rear of the field 1 lap down. Wines also from Lebanon, Or. picked up $1,200.00 for the win, it was his 2nd DAA main event win of the 2010 season.

Jason Wines would jump out and lead early after staring on the front row, outside starter Steve Moore from Scio, Oregon would finally get around Wines on the high side, but Wines staying on the bottom would come back and pass Moore for a final time to pick up the $1,200.00 pay day winning the Clair Arnold Memorial 40 lap race, it was Wines 2nd feature race win of the season. The race was slowed four times for caution flags. Steve Moore was the 2009 Warriors of Dirt 2009 champion.
