EASTABOGA, Ala. (August 28) - Tim Busha picked up the Super Late Model win in a very emotional night at Talladega Short Track on Saturday Night.
Before the SLM feature, the Holman family spread the flowers from the services on the track while a couple of songs were played as everyone on the property stood in silent for our beloved announcer Perry Holman who passed away on Tuesday morning.
Tim Busha then led wire-to-wire to win the SLM feature over Terry Smith in second and Dillon Crim in third. Danny Peoples finished fourth with Doug Stewart rounding out the top five.
Bubba Lackey picked up his first win of the season in Sportsman action over Jason Wilson in second and Joe Noojin third.
Adam Martin won the twenty-lap Crate Late Model feature event over Jimmy Elkins in second and Red Farmer who finished third.
Kevin Waddle won the IMCA Modified feature event over Destin Mince in second and Eddie Brannon third.
Michel Blakeney won the Thundercar feature over Scott Magouirk in second and Ken Pate third.
Phillip Haynes won the Street Stock feature with Michael Elrod winning the Hot Shot feature event.
Talladega Short Track is back in action this Saturday Night September 4th featuring a full racing program plus the Clyde Haynes Memorial Race paying $800 to win in the Sportsman division.
