EASTABOGA, Ala. (August 7) - Sixteen year old Dillon Crim led wire-to-wire to pick up his first ever Super Late Model victory at Talladega Short Track on Saturday Night.
Tim Busha put a bunch of pressure on the young driver, put had to settle for the runner-up position. Terry Smith finished third with Danny Peoples fourth and Chris Mullinax rounding out the top five.
Joe Noojin inherited the lead with a handful of laps to go, and went on to claim checkers in the Sportsman division feature event. Logan Yates finished second and with Josh Adkins third.
Adam Cummings picked up the twenty-lap Crate Late Model feature event win over Tim Staples in second and Ryan King third.
Eric Smith won the IMCA Modified feature event with Jeff Harry second and Kevin Waddell third.
Al Reynolds won the fifteen lap Thundercar feature race with Scott Magouirk in second and Ken Pate third.
Charlie Chapman won the Street Stock feature with Dustin Mullinax winning the Hot Shot main.
TST is back in action this Saturday Night August 14th featuring a full racing program plus the return of the NVRA Vintage Car Thunder Series. It's also football night at the track, so come dressed in your favorite teams gear for a chance to win a prize package.
