EASTABOGA, Ala. (July 24) - Dingus Griffin scored the win in a photo finish in Super Late Model action at Talladega Short Track on Saturday Night.

Griffin led the race early before Busha jockeyed his was way up front in one of the best races of the 2010 season. Side by side racing from first on back throughout the thirty-lap feature kept the fans on the edge of their seats.

Busha came under the white flag as the leader, running the bottom of the track. Griffin would inch up along side going into turn one and the two would go down the backstretch door to door.

Griffin drove hard into turn three and used the topside momentum to literally inch past Busha in a photo finish that had the TST faithful standing and cheering.

Busha would be credited with second spot with Terry Smith third. Danny Peoples finished fourth with Dillon Crim rounding out the top five.

Before the great Super Late Model feature begun, the Sportsman division put on a great show as well, with Dustin Stewart and Buddy George racing side-by-side for most of the race. Stewart prevailed with George in second. Jason Wilson finished third with Chris Blackburn fourth and Logan Yates rounding out the top five.

Jason Hiett won the twenty-lap Crate Late Model feature event with Tim Staples second and Adam Martin third.

Eric Smith won the twenty-lap IMCA Modified feature event with Luke Riddle in second and Clark Gary third.

Michael Blakeney won the Thundercar feature event with Eric Smith in second and Ken Pate third.

Andy Davis won the Street Stock feature event with Dustin Mullinax claiming the win in Hot Shot action.

This week at TST is the annual Michael Head Jr. Memorial Race featuring the only appearance of the season for the Southern All-Star Dirt Late Model series in a fifty-four lap feature event paying $5,400 to win. All other divisions will also be in action.
