EASTABOGA, Ala. (June 19) - Tim Busha grabbed the lead on lap twenty-seven and led the final three laps en route to the victory in Super Late Model action in front of a great crowd on fan appreciation night at Talladega Short Track.
Dillon Crim and Terry Smith battled it out for the lead throughout the first twenty-seven laps of the feature event.
Busha used the lapped traffic to gain ground and then the lead.
Crim finished in the runner-up spot with Smith third. Douglas Stewart finished in the fourth spot with James Cline rounding out the top five.
Logan Yates picked up the win in the twenty-five lap Sportsman feature event over Josh Adkins in second and Steven Forsythe third.
Tim Staples won the Crate feature event with Adam Martin in second and Jason Hiett third.
Luke Riddle won the twenty-lap IMCA Modified feature event with Eddie Brannon in second and Lavoy Rich in third.
Michael Blakeney won the Thundercar feature with Eric Smith in second and Jeff Chumley third.
Michael Jordan won the Street Stock feature with Corey Pressley winning the Hot Shot feature event.
Talladega Short Track officials also announced that this coming Saturday Night June 26th will feature another "Fan Appreciation Night," featuring a full racing program plus grandstand admission will once again be $5 for adults with kids 9 and under admitted free. Tons of door prizes will also be given away, plus kids bicycle races.
