PEEBLES, Ohio (October 9) - The Peebles, Ohio area was treaded to unseasonably warm temperatures on Saturday Oct. 9, for the conclusion of the 2010 Billy Bob race at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex. The Bill Bob race originally scheduled for Saturday October 2 fail victim to mother nature after the late model heat races were ran forcing officials to postpone the event until Oct. 9.

With the late model heats already ran, the conclusion of the Billy Bob race picked up were it left off. The Billy Bob B-main finished setting the running order for the first Billy Bob 50 feature event. Salt Rock West Virginia's Eddie Carrier Jr. bagged the first Billy Bob 50 feature win, picking up the milk can trophy and $7,500 dollars for his efforts. With twenty one cars still running at the end of 50 laps the field would be inverted with a 21 car invert. When the cars returned for the second 50 lap Billy Bob feature it was Wheelersburg, Ohio's Rod Conley emerging with the milk can and $7,500 for the win.

With the 2010 Billy Bob race in the books, the night moved into a regular night of racing plus a $1,000 to win late model feature. Salt Rock West Virginia's Eddie Carrier Jr. avoided near disaster on lap nine when Paul Moore looped his #4 right in front of front running Carrier. Moore gassed it up and kept going while Carrier missed the spinning car. Carrier held off a late race charge by Duane Chamberlin to pick up the $1,000 win.

Jacob Hawkins and Rick Combs brought the first Billy Bob Feature to the green. Hawkins jumped out to the early lead. However, Hawkins lead would be short lived when his 20H showed a puff of smoke and he went pit side on lap three. Fifth starting Duane Chamberlin found himself on point followed by Eddie Carrier Jr., Combs and Tim Dohm. The first caution waved on lap nine when Wayne Chinn looped his #15 out of turn four.

On the restart, Chamberlin maintained the lead over Carrier and Donnie Moran, who moved into third out of turn two. Moran chased second running Carrier for the next four circuits with Chamberlin at the point. Moran moved by Carrier on lap thirteen to take over second. A lap sixteen caution waved when Josh Tidwell went around in turn three.

On the restart, Chamberlin maintained the lead over Carrier who reclaimed second from Moran. The action was quickly slowed when Zach Dohm went around out of turn two.

On the restart, Chamberlin maintained the lead over Carrier and Moran. Working lapped traffic on lap thirty Carrier pulled along side front running Chamberlin. Chamberlin fought back, putting a couple car lengths between himself and Carrier. Carrier regrouped and mounted another charge at front running Chamberlin. Carrier made the pass for the lead out of turn two on lap thirty-seven. A lap forty one caution waved when Casey Noonan spun in turn one.

On the restart Carrier held off Chamberlin to maintain the lead. Chamberlin chased front running Carrier over the next two circuits. The final caution waved on lap forty-three when Devin Moran looped his 99m in turn four.

On the restart, Carrier maintained the advantage over Chamberlin and Chub Frank. Over the final laps Frank got by Chamberlin for second while Carrier held on to pick up the first Billy Bob feature. Following Carrier across the line where Chub Frank, Duane Chamberlin, Rod Conley, and Rick Combs rounding out the top five in feature number one.

With twenty one cars running at the end of the first 50 laps the field was realigned with an invert of twenty one for the second feature. After a short break to rework the racing surface the 2010 Billy Bob feature field returned to the track for the second 50 lap Billy Bob feature race.

Michael Paul Howard and Casey Noonan brought the feature field to the green. Third starting Wayne Chinn jumped out to the early lead. The caution quickly waved when the 4s of Rob Starkey went around in turn two.

On the restart, Michael Paul Howard jumped out to the lead over Wayne Chinn and Donnie Moran. Chinn overtook Michael Paul Howard on lap two to claim the lead, while Moran moved into third. The action was slowed with a lap three caution when Rick Combs went around in turn one.

On the restart, Chinn maintained the advantage over Moran and Zach Dohm, who now was in third. The three front runners were three wide down the back stretch on lap five. Moran emerged with the lead on lap six. By lap twelve front running Moran had a pair of new comers on his deck lid. Rod Conley and Ron Davies chased front running Moran over the next six circuits before Rod Conley bagged front running Moran to claim the point. The action was slowed with a lap 25 caution.

On the restart, Moran reclaimed the lead out of turn two from Rod Conley. Over the next two circuits Moran would maintain the point while Zach Dohm moved by Conley to take second. Running the high side in turn four Moran grazed the wall and came up with a flat right rear bringing out a lap twenty-eight caution.

With Moran pit side getting a new tire, Zach Dohm claimed the point. On the restart. Dohm maintained the advantage over Conley, Davies, Chamberlin and Carrier. Disaster struck for Dohm when he got into the turn four wall on lap thirty two, rolling to a stop on the front stretch with a flat right rear bringing out the caution.

With Dohm pit side for a new tire, the new leader was Rod Conley. On the restart, Conley maintained the advantage over Davies, Tim Dohm and Carrier. The final caution waved on lap forty six when Jamie Ferguson found the wall in turn three.

On the restart, Conley held the advantage over Chamberlin and Carrier. Conley held on over the final laps to pick up the feature win from his eighteenth starting position. Following Conley across the line were Duane Chamberlin, Eddie Carrier Jr., Tim Dohm and Jacob Hawkins rounding out the top five.
