PEEBLES, Ohio (October 1) - Action returned to the 1/3 mile speed plant three miles south of Peebles Ohio on Friday October 1 with night one of the Billy Bob week end. Thirty late model drivers signed in to kick off the first night 2010 Billy Bob Week End. Rick Combs, Jacob Hawkins, Rod Conley and Steve Casebolt Jr. took heat race wins, while Doug Drown took the checkered flag in the B-main. Fairmont, West Virginia's Jacob Hawkins stormed to the $1,500 night before the Billy Bob feature win.

Rick Combs and Jacob Hawkins brought the feature field to the green. Hawkins jumped out the early lead, leaving Combs to battle Steve Casebolt Jr. for second. Setting a torrid pace Hawkins began to lap the back of the field by lap eight.

By lap nine sixth starting Austin Dillon had found his way to second. As Hawkins continued to work lapped traffic Dillon began to real in the front runner. Just one lap later Dillon had pulled along side front running Hawkins. Dillon using the extreme low side would be slowed slightly when he found a back marker directly in front of him. Hawkins with clear track was able to pull to a two car length lead. Once Austin disposed of the lap car he began to chase front running Hawkins, slowly reeling him in until he went into turn one too hot on lap seventeen nearly spinning out. As Dillon got off the gas and regained control he slipped all the way back to seventh.

Chub Frank all the way from his eighth starting spot now found himself in second chasing front running Hawkins. Over the next few laps Frank worked Hawkins lead down to just two car lengths as they weaved through lapped traffic. Hawkins held off Frank over the final laps in the caution free event to pick up the feature win. Following Hawkins across the line were Chub Frank, Eddie Carrier Jr., Rick Combs, and Steve Casebolt Jr. rounding out the top five.
