Penn Can Speedway SUSQUEHANNA, Penn. (August 27) - Curt Tunilo looked like the man to beat in the late model feature event taking an early lead in a race that would run without cautions. Dave Zona started in the seventh position and patiently made a run to the front. With eleven laps in the books, Tunilo drifted high in turn two allowing Zona the inside and the lead. Zona kept the car out front for the remainder of the race with Tunilo, Dan Snyder and Tracy Gregory fighting for the second spot. At the finish, Zona had another Penn Can late model win with Snyder, Tunilo, Gregory, and Jim O'Hara rounding out the top five.
