SARVER, Penn. (August 20) - Budweiser Points Leader Dave Hess Jr. could have locked up the 2010 Budweiser Track Championship last night, but second place Jared Miley was not ready to concede the title just yet! John Mollick and Valley News Dispatch cover boy Chuck Sarver led the field to the green flag, but a caution on the opening lap was followed by a complete restart. Mollick took the quick lead on the restart, but was split high and low by second row starters Jared Miley and Doug Eck. Miley led the second lap and rocketed to his first feature win of the season at Lernerville Speedway, adding to his 2010 resume that also features an All Star Late Model Series win and a few wins at Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway. He also keeps his Budweiser Track Championship hopes alive, though he trails Hess by 38 points. All Hess basically has to do to clinch is to start his heat race next week!

Six-Time Track Champion Lynn Geisler finished second ahead of Hess. Doug Eck finished fourth, while Dan Swartzlander had his best finish of the season in fifth. The top ten rounded out with "Double Duty" Dave Murdick, Three-Time Defending Track Champion Alex Ferree, Michael Norris, John Mollick and Sean Puz. Hess and Eck won their respective National Guard Heat Races.
