PITTSBURGH, Penn. (July 31) - South Park PA's Jared Miley grabbed his third feature of the season in the Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic DIRTcar Super Late Models. In a wild event, Jim Stephans and Daryl Charlier brought the field down for the start, and Charlier led the first lap. Stephans took over on lap 2 as the front pair battled side by side. On lap 4 Charlier took over and John Flinner moved into second from his 8th starting spot. Charlier led, while Flinner made numerous charges at him for the top spot. By lap 9 it was still Charlier, Flinner and now Jared Miley who came from 7th. Now it was a three way battle for the lead. Charlier continued to lead, and still was being heavily challenged by Flinner and Miley. Charlier looked as if he was going to start to pull away at one point, but brushed the wall, and did some damage to his rear spoiler and began to slow. On lap 15 the front running trio went three wide on the front straight, and Miley got by Flinner for second. On the next lap Charlier still was leading, but Miley was all over him, and then in turns three and four he slid past for the lead. Flinner also got by and Charlier began to fade. Flinner's handling began to go, as Miley started to pull away, then Flinner tagged the wall a couple times in one and two and knocked his rear spoiler loose and slowed allowing Stephans and Steve Baker to move into second and third. There was a yellow with two to go which allowed the field one last shot at Miley for the lead. But Miley was up to the task as he pulled away to the win. Stephans had a solid run for second, while Baker came from 10th to third, with Mike Johnson a close fourth followed by Keith Barbara, Charlier, Brandon Wearing, John Garvin, Jim Lepro, and Charles Medved. The heats saw Brandon Burgoon and Jason Rider pick up wins. Ben Miley tagged the wall in his heat and did not start the main. John Mollick was again in Jim Lepro's back up car. Mike Johnson had motor problems with his primary car, and unloaded his backup and ran it in the heat and feature.

The Brougher's Machine Shop Fastrak Pro Late Models saw Sarver PA's Bryant Hank picked up his first win of the season. Point leader Mark Moats Jr. from his front row starting spot grabbed the lead and led the first 10 laps, while positions 2-5 changed almost every lap, Bryan Hoffman was second the first lap, with Ken Chernik moving into second on lap 2. Chernik was having a solid run until he got a flat on lap 7, Dennis Niederriter moved into second. On lap 11 third running Hank got by Niederriter and Moats for first and led the rest of the way for the win. At the flag it was Hank, Moats, Niederriter, Mike Reft, Laura Lukon, Dan Karalagas, Mike Opalinski, Justin Lamb, Scott Schempp and Bryan Hoffman. The two heats saw Mike Reft and Dan Karalagas pick up the wins.

Midway PA's Daryl Charlier continues to dominate the win column in the Miley RV Service UMP Modifieds, grabbing win number 5 of the season. Shawn Domhoff making his first start of the season led the first two laps, before J.E. Stalder grabbed the lead. Stalder looked solid, but 4th starting Charlier had other ideas moving around Stalder on the outside on lap 10 and led the remaining laps. Stalder ended up second followed by Wayne Tessean, Willy Briggs, Domhoff, Tom Martineck, Chris Basich, Clayton Kennedy, Vince Laboon, and Kevin Miller. The heats had J.E. Stalder and Chris Basich picking up the wins.

The Sunoco Race Fuels DIRTcar Cadets had Imperial PA's Nick Kocuba win his first feature of the season. Kocuba took over the lead on lap 6 from early leader Dave McManus from his 8th starting spot and led the rest of the way. Jake Simmons was second with McManus third followed by Gary Koteles, Joe Koteles, Craig Koteles, Bob Schwartzmiller, Steve Webb, Al Atallah, and Jennifer Barker. Jake Simmons and Pat Weldon took the heat races.

Two features were run in the Miley BP Car Wash DIRTcar Hobby Stocks. The first was the make-up from last week, with McKees Rocks PA's Ed Wiser picking up his second win of the season of the season in a good race over Ken Puglishi, Brian Huchko, Garrett Keffer, Ricky Steigerwald and Ian Tomei. The second main had Carnegie PA's Brian Huchko winning his 7th win of the season. Huchko beat Ricky Steigerwald, Ed Wiser, Ian Tomei, Ken Puglishi, Garrett Keffer, and Eric Goldberg. Brian Huchko also won the heat.

Point leader Daniel White, Carnegie PA, won his 4th win of the season in the Imperial Heights Garage DIRTcar Young Guns. White won over newcomer Zachery Staley, Justin Pons, and Adam Carson.
