Mike Swanger MILLERSBURG, Ohio (July 17) - The fans not only were able to get driver's autographs before the races, they were then treated to the most highly competitive features of the season in all divisions at Hilltop Speedway Saturday night. Winning the dash, JR Gentry would start on the pole of the feature as he was looking to claim the Lake-Hill Challenge after winning at Lakeville Speedway Friday night as this would be his second attempt at taking the bonus money. He would lead the opening four laps of the Super Late Model feature that included three yellow's as Mansfield's Dave Hornikel, Jeremy Canada, who caused one of the yellow's on the second lap after tagging the guardrail in turn two, points leader Charlie Duncan and Wayne Maffett Jr in hot pursuit on each restart. Using the highside, Hornikel was able to get by Gentry on lap five as Duncan would follow in in his tire tracks to drop Gentry to third. Duncan would drop down to the low groove and keep the pressure on Hornikel as Maffett Jr. moved past Gentry for third on lap seven. The Imperial Truck Refinishing, Innovative Graphics, and Fultz Fabrications #71 of Hornikel could never get more than two car lengths away from Duncan and in the last four laps, Charging Charlie would be able to pull alongside of fast qualifier Hornikel in the corners but could never take the lead away as Hornikel parked in victory lane for the third week in a row and fourth time in five weeks. Gentry hooked up in the high groove and chased down heat winner Maffett Jr. and slipped past him at the checkered flag to take third as Bryan Casey held off Blaine Aber for fifth.
