SPRING VALLEY, Minn. (August 14) - Deer Creek Speedway had a beautiful day going with a pit full of cars. A quick caution with one complete saw Jumbeck again lead with Hanestad working to his inside and Brad Waits moving into the third spot. With three complete Hanestad moved into the lead while Jake Redetzke worked on John Kaanta for the fourth spot. With four down Waits worked into second while the field had multiple side by side battles. With eight laps complete Waits and Hanestad were battling for the lead. Redetzke worked under Kaanta for fourth and then under Jumbeck for the third spot. Mike Prochnow worked into the top five at this point and on the next lap took away fourth. With eleven down Waits was working through lapped traffic while Redetzke moved under Hanestad for the second spot. With fifteen down Redetzke quickly started to gain on Waits up front and five laps later raced him side by side for the lead. Waits was not to be denied as he held the slight advantage to the finish followed by Redetzke, Hanestad, Prochnow and Kaanta.

A big jumble in the middle of the pack looked to bring out the caution on the initial start but everyone somehow kept moving and the race was on. Nate Wasmund wrestled the lead away from Mike Sorensen on lap two but then relinquished the spot on the next lap. Lucas Schott and Todd Scharkey were side by side for second while Josh Angst and Jason Cummins battled for fourth. Five down saw Scharkey in second while Schott and now Angst battled for third. Eight laps completed saw Angst and Scharkey now side by side for the second spot and Cummins moving past Schott for fourth. The yellow flew on lap ten and on the restart Sorensen led with Angst in second. Out of four for lap eleven Angst took over the lead with Scharkey in third behind Sorensen. Twelve down and Sorensen started to fight back for the lead as another caution flew. On the restart Sorensen held the point with Angst and Scharkey battling for second. Bob Timm came to life and worked around Steve Wetzstein for the fifth spot. Seventeen down and Angst again held onto second while Timm moved past Cummins for fourth. Sorensen was flying on the high side by this time and slowly pulled away for the win over Angst and Scharkey.

Michael Hofer jumped out front in the US ARMY WISSOTA Super Stock feature event with Jon Duffy in second. Kevin Hager started to challenge Duffy for the second spot as Hofer was a rocket ship out front and just flying around a freshly groomed track after the rain. Nick Wranek sat in fourth ahead of Tony Bloom early on. With eight complete that rocket ship out front had pulled out to a full straight away lead while Wranek now was challenging Hager for the third spot. Fifteen down and the caution flag flew with Hofer again taking the lead. Hager and Duffy raced for second with Bloom working past Wranek for fourth. Seventeen down and Hager took over the second spot and Bloom rocketed past Duffy to take over the third spot with Jeff Brauer working into fifth. Billy Steinberg paced the field in the Dirt Doctor Trucking WISSOTA Midwest Modified division with a four wide battle for second behind him. Finally the first five laps were completed and the field clicked off some laps with Young leading on the restart, Davis soundly in second and Born in third. Eight laps complete saw Born and Hernandez in a good race for third. Three laps later Hernandez finally took control of the spot with Paulson and Boumeester in another good race for fifth. Hanson took fourth while Holland moved into second. Eight complete and Hanson and Goergen raced for third while up front Zvorak had pulled out to a three quarter straight lead. Holland turned up the wick running low on the speedway while Zvorak ran up top. Holland quickly made progress and started to gain on the leader. With two to go Holland had closed up to Zvorak's bumper. As the white flag flew over the speedway Holland held a slight edge at the line. Holland kept that edge and took home the win over Zvorak with Hanson rounding out the top three.
Shaun Walski led from the drop of the green in the Hinz Trucking USRA B-Modifieds with Kylie Kath and Colter Duetsch racing for second. The clouds started to open up with a very light sprinkle coming down at the start of the race. A caution with two down saw Kath take the lead with Greg Mattick in second.
