West Liberty Raceway
WEST LIBERTY, Iowa (August 10) - Denny Eckrich of Tiffin, IA fought off a couple of late race re-starts to capture the $10,000 victory in the Tornado Tuesday Late Model Special presented by IWireless and West Liberty State Bank at the West Liberty Raceway. Last year's winner Brian Birkhofer of Muscatine, IA finished second followed by Don O'Neal of Martinsville, IN. Will Vaught and Chad Simpson rounded out the top five finishers. Jeremiah Hurst, Birkhofer, Andy Eckrich and O'Neal were heat winners. Nick Marolf and Skip Frey won the b-main events.
