WHEATLAND, Mo. (August 7) - James Flood, Shawn Nations, and Chris Morelock scored feature wins this past Saturday at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri on "Buffalo Prairie Dental Night at the Races". Flood and Morelock scored their first feature wins of 2010 in the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks and the TNT Quick Shop Late Models respectively while Nations picked up his second Pitt's Homes A-Modified win in a row and third overall.

A jubilant Chris Morelock out of Springfield, Missouri started on the pole and led every lap of the Green, White, Checkered TNT Quick Shop ULMA Late Model Feature as he crossed the AAA Start/Finish line first to capture his first win of the season. Morelock's Show-Me Spec Engined machine was clearly the class of the field on the evening has he held off El Dorado Springs, Missouri's Larry Jones as Jones scored his second consecutive second place finish. Vance Wilson worked his way from 12th to third at the finish. Tommy Cordray and Andy Kennedy rounded out the Top-5 in fourth and fifth respectively.

An elated Flood, out of Billings, Missouri worked his way from fifth to first in his heat race earning the pole position for the 20 lap A-Main by virtue of the passing points system utilized at Lucas Oil Speedway. Flood, making his first appearance of 2010 held on for the win from his pole starting position while Higgensville, Missouri's Brian Eckhoff battled all the way to the checkered flag with Ben Solberg to capture the second spot while Solberg settled for third after starting back in eighth. Keith Webster rallied from his 13th starting spot to capture fourth at the finish while Randy Gilmore scored another Top-5 to retain a 21 point lead in the season long battle for the points championship which concludes on September 4th.

The Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds was another classic battle between Nations and Galena's Jesse Stovall with Nations utilizing the bottom groove and Stovall working the the high side. Several cautions slowed the early laps of the race as drivers struggled on the slick Lucas Oil Speedway surface. The last 13 laps were run without a caution however and all eyes were on the front pair of black cars. Nations bobbled coming out of turn 4 with just a couple laps to go as Stovall stalked the leader but Nations rebounded to pull away for the win. Jeremy Kelley had a strong run in the yellow 7x car to take home the third spot. Veteran racer Terry Kirk charged from his 12th starting spot to finish in fourth while Appleton City, Missouri's Johnny Fennewald held on to the fifth spot after starting on the pole. Stovall continues to hold a 160 point lead in the points battle with four races remaining.
