QUINCY, Ill. (July 4) - The Annual Pepsi Mid-Season Championships at Quincy Raceways found a Host of new feature event winners for the 2010 season on Sunday, July 4.
Robby Warner cruised to his first ever Pepsi Mid-Season Championship feature event win in the Budweiser IMCA Late Model division. Warner started on the outside of row one and held off Dustin Griffin for the first five laps and then Joey Gower of the remainder of the thirty laps that saw only one caution flag on lap two. Gower settled for the second place hardware followed by Griffin in third, Keith Pratt in fourth and Justin Reed in fifth. Griffin and Billy Genenbacher were the heat race winners while Justin Reed scored the win in the Summy Tire and Auto Center Trophy Dash.
A special event for the UMP Pro-Crate Late Models found Dustin Griffin dominating the night's action by taking the win in his heat race and the feature event. Griffin was followed to the checkered flag in the Pepsi Crate Late Model Shootout by Bobbi Marintoni in second, Jerry Lierly in third, Jake Griffin in fourth and Joe Hughes in fifth.
