MANITOWOC, Wisc. (June 26) - With the evenings events being sponsored by Akright Auto Wrecking and a Big Wheel Race on tap for the youngsters, the fans of EWSC were treated to a fantastic show high-lighted by a pair of green-to-checker A Main Features. Feature winning cars from last week; Budweiser 360 of Brian Kristan (Zion, IL), Monster Energy Late Model of Nick Anvelink (Navarino), Grand National Brett Wenzel (Manitowoc), and TA Motorsports Hobby Stock Adam Krepline (Manitowoc) carried the Nations Colors for the National Anthem.

The Monster Energy Late Models were paced to the green by Chris Carlson (North Cape) and Randy Markwardt of Sheboygan. The 25 lap A Main was completed caution free in just over 7 minutes. The drivers mid pack on back used the cushion to make several bold passed to gain positions on their way to the front. The biggest mover in the race was Rick Scheffler (Waukesha), with Tim Buhler (Glenbeulah) and Ted Dolhoun Sr. (Franklin) both improving by 7 positions. Markwardt was the winner, with Carlson, Dolhoun Sr., Buhler, R. Scheffler, N. Anvelink, Ron Stroika (Mukwonago), Jim Schmidt(Cleveland, subbing for Russ Scheffler), and Dan Sorce (Franklin) filling out the top ten.

Dan Dippel (Plymouth) and Kyle Odekirk (Waldo) led the 12 lap Late Model B Main to the green. A quick caution for a spin by  Nick Cochart (Burlington) and Frank Geiger (Whitelaw) and a lap 2 caution for debris were the only speedbumps during the hotly contested event. Rick Scheffler came from outside the fifth row to win it, also transferring to the main event were the cars of Gordie Seegert Jr. (Oostburg), Brad Mueller (Random Lake), Al Atkinson (Milwaukee), Dippel, Brian Goetsch (Sheboygan), Geiger, and Bob Cullen (Chilton).
