PLYMOUTH, Wisc. (June 19) - Perfect weather greeted fans and racers and the racing was very exciting. A-main winners were, Mark Fieber (Cascade) in the Grand National Division, Brian Kristan (Zion, IL) Sprint cars, Jim Schmidt (Cleveland) Late Models, and Aaron Stolp (West Allis) Outlaw Compacts.

Fieber's win was his second A-main win on the Plymouth track.  After starting in the third row, Fieber took the lead on the third lap and drove to the win.  The race, which was slowed a number of times with yellow flags, started slowly, when several cars made contact on the first lap.  That sent the front row of Tim Thompson (Campbellsport) and Luke Scholten (Oostburg) to the pits with flat tires.

Tim Warner (Malone) finished second with Brian Gilles (Plymouth) third.  Thompson would come back to finish fourth and Rick Hed (Sheboygan Falls) fifth.

The Sprint cars raced two and three wide at times giving the fans an exciting race.  Kristan would take the lead on lap ten passing Tim Melis (Plymouth) on the outside.  After the race stopped twice early, it was not interrupted until the checkered flag waved.

Kurt Davis (West Allis) finished second with Melis getting third.  T.J. Luedke (Plymouth) was fourth and Jeremy Schultz (Beaver Dam) fifth.

Schmidt paced the 25-lap Late Model A-main from the pole position leading by about five car-lengths much of the race.  Ted Dolhun Sr. (Franklin) moved into second on lap four and stayed behind Schmidt.

Craig Schueffner (Sheboygan Falls) was third with Rick Scheffler (Waukesha) edged Bob Cullen (Chilton) after they ran side by side for many laps.

Stolp took the lead early in the Outlaw Compact Feature and was able to stay ahead of Jake Meyer (Plymouth) and Ben Van Wyke (Waldo).  Michael Strean (Sheboygan) and Travis Arenz (Sheboygan) rounded out the top five.

In preliminary races, Gary Glander (Sheboygan Falls) won the 12-lap Grand National B-main.  Aaron Hauck (Plymouth) was second after leading the first nine laps. Travis Groelle (Two Rivers) and Chris Baumann (Elkhart Lake) also transferred.

Heat race winners were, Scholten, Gilles and Warner.

The first Sprint B-main was won by Jason Johnson (Campbellsport) with Tim Haddy (Waupun) and Earl Possi (Rock MI) transferring.  The Second B-main was won Brian Johnson (Kewaskum) with Shane Wenninger (Kewaskum) and Jay Riemer (Sheboygan Falls) transferring.

Late Model heat races were won by Tim Buhler (Glenbuelah) and Turk Letizia (Milwaukee).

Outlaw Compact heat races were won by Stolp, Van Wyke and Tim Simon (Fond du Lac).
