Tri-County Race Track
BRASSTOWN, N.C. (May 22) - Bobby Panter made it two wins in a row in the super-fast Late Model class Saturday night at Brasstown's Tri-County Race track. "The track was in good shape tonight," stated Panter. "If the track is this good next Saturday when the Southeastern Sportsman Series come to town, expect some of the best racing you will see all year." Following Panter under the checkered flag were Jason Payne, Preston Chrisp, Doug Sneed, Jonathan Crisp. JR.Carswell and Danny Ledford who had engine problems.
The race of the night saw Copperhill driver Jason Deal and Murphy's Jacob Anderson duel side-by-side for the complete 25-lap GM Performance feature, Deal on the high side and Anderson on the low side with Deal edging out the victory, his third in a row, by less than a car length. Tony Ledford, Wayne Wilborn and Kevin Bradshaw rounded out the top five.
