Lernerville Speedway
SARVER, Penn. (May 21) - With a rained out World of Outlaws Sprint Car race at Attica Raceway Park and another off weekend for the World of Outlaws Late Model Series, Dale Blaney and Chub Frank crashed the Fab Four Racing program, and showed the racing prowess that has both drivers out on the road with national touring series as both won their respective features.

Former Five-Time Track Champion John Flinner made his 2010 Lernerville Speedway debut Friday Night and started on the pole alongside incumbent Budweiser Points leader Dave Hess Jr. Hess took the early advantage, but Flinner was all over the regional star, sliding low through the turns trying to take the lead. A bevy of cautions prevented the race from really ever hitting a stride. The multiple cautions also allowed World of Outlaws star Chub Frank to pick off his competitors on the way to the front without the leaders stretching out a big lead.

By lap eight, Frank was already in third and starting to reel in Hess and Flinner. After holding the lead using the high groove on multiple restarts, Flinner finally stole the lead away from Hess with a great holeshot followed by a big powerslide through turns one and two, but the momentum of the slide caused Flinner to check up and almost spin out. Hess and Frank checked up and shot below Flinner to blast down the back straightaway. Flinner rolled to a stop in turn four and rolled pitside for a tire change, slowing the field again. On that restart, Lynn Geisler lost a right rear wheel on the front stretch causing another caution; Geisler did not return and was scored in 20th.

On each restart, Hess would start on the outside pole and rocket to the lead exiting turn two and down the back straightaway. Frank finally made his move on lap 18 to take the lead, but the pass was voided by yet another caution. But the final yellow flag of the race only delayed the inevitable, as Frank took the lead on the lap 20 restart when Hess bounced off the cushion in turns three and four allowing both Frank and Jared Miley the get by. Hess retook second place from Miley in turn four the following lap, but could never reel in Frank who cruised to his second Lernerville win of the season. Frank also won last month's O'Reilly All Star Late Model Showdown in Sarvertown during a World of Outlaws Late Model Series off weekend.
