GASTONIA, N.C. (May 7) - Matt Long continued his hot streak at Carolina Speedway on Friday night as the Concord, NC resident collected his second NDRA GM Performance Late Model win in a row and third of the season.
Long and young Matt Stover brought the 15 car field to the green flag as Long blasted to the point. Forest Acres, SC's Jordan Anderson made it three wide on lap one to move into second with Stover in tow. Long led the field throughout the main event to post the win aboard his Gazzu Energy Drink Rocket. Anderson, Richard Clew, Stover and Dan Yarbrough rounded out the top five.
