Susquehanna Speedway Park
NEWBERRY, Penn. (April 24) - Hanover's Mike Walls won the 20-lap Late Model feature on Saturday night, April 24 at the Susquehanna Speedway Park. Doug Bennett of Chambersburg claimed his second Street Stock feature win of the season with Andrew Frye of Etters winning the XSC Elite feature. Donnie Broderick of Lancaster is three for three with Xtreme Stock Car victories this season. Tim Henry won the Legends Cars feature with Brian Lefebvre winning the 12-lap Road Warrior feature.
In Late Model action, Larry Baer took the early lead from the pole position, with Cam Zeigler and Alex Updegraff in pursuit. On lap four, Baer spun after contact from Updegraff, relegating both to the rear after the caution flew. Mike Walls was the leader by default with the vacancy of th top two spots. From that point, Walls continued to lead to the finish with Jake Jones coming home second after starting 9th. John Moser Jr. had a steady run from a 7ht place starting spot to finish third. Randy Christine Jr. and Zeigler rounded out the top five. Zeigler and Baer scored the heat race wins.
