EASTABOGA, Ala. (April 17) - Dingus Griffin picked up his first win of the season in Super Late Model action at Talladega Short Track on Saturday Night.
Griffin becomes the fourth different winner to visit victory lane in the 2010 season.
Tim Busha finished in the second spot with Danny Peoples third. Douglas Stewart finished fourth with Randall Walker rounding out the top five.
Jason Wilson won the twenty-five lap Sportsman feature event followed by Logan Yates in the second spot and Joe Noojin third.
Tim Staples won his first feature of the season in Crate Latemodel action out-dueling a great battle with Adam Gauldin who finished second. Adam Martin finished third.
Eric Smith picked up his second straight win in IMCA Modified action over David Griffin who finished second and Jeff Harry Third.
Michael Blakeney won the Thundercar feature event over Adam Magouirk in second and Ken Pate third.
Andy Davis won the Street Stock feature with Mike Tweety winning the Hot Shot feature.
Talladega Short Track is back in action with two big shows this weekend. Friday Night will feature a $2,000 to win Super Latemodel feature event with Saturday Night featuring a $5,000 to win Super Latemodel race. All other divisions will be in action with a complete show each night.
A special Nextel Cup Drivers Match Race is also scheduled for Friday Night.
