Allen Earl TAZEWELL, Tenn. (April 16) - The Tazewell Late Model feature race was up next. Brad Hall and Travis Fultz led the pack to the green flag with Hall taking the lead coming out of turn one. He led the race over Fultz and Greg Estes until lap seven. Hall was driving through lap traffic when he was sent into the turn one wall ending his night after the contact. Hall went down the track on foot and had an on track discussion with Phil Helton. On the restart it was now Fultz, Greg Estes and Jason Trammell the top three. On lap eight Trammel took Estes on the low side for second and set his sights on Fultz. The restart was what Trammell needed to begin attacking Fultz again on the low side. The two up front raced side by side with Trammell nearly grabbing the point at times but Fultz had just enough forward bite to stay in the lead at lap eleven. Trammell searched all over the track looking for the line he needed but didn't find what he needed to clear Fultz for the spot. It was side by side at the front until a caution slowed the pace. Fultz, Trammell and Estes were the top three as the race resumed with Fultz taking the win. In victory lane Fultz talked of his win and said, "I would like to thank all these fans and the good Lord. Trammell is one of the best there is on this kind of track and I knew he would be there but this DJ Performance Mopar makes some horsepower." He is sponsored by Citizens Bank, Reece Monument, DJ's Performance, Cowboys Auto Sales and Harrogate Collision. Fultz currently races a C.J. Rayburn chassis.
