EASTABOGA, Ala. (March 20) - Stacey Holmes grabbed the lead on lap two and cruised the rest of the way winning his second straight race in the Super Late Model division at Talladega Short Track on Saturday Night.
Defending track champion Tim Busha finished in the runner-up spot with Dillon Crim finishing third. Fourth spot went to the 2010 Ice Bowl champion Randall Walker with Terry Smith rounding out the top five.
Joe Noojin won the twenty-five lap Sportsman feature event holding off hard challenges from both Logan Yates who finished second and Dustin Stewart who finished third.
Adam Martin picked up his first win of the 2010 season in Crate Late Model action with Adam Gauldin finishing in the runner-up spot and Karl Parks in third.
In IMCA Modified action, Eddie Brannon found victory lane for the first time this season over Destin Mince in the second spot and Luke Riddle in third.
Tyler Hurst won the Thundercar feature event over Scott Magouirk in the second spot and Ken Pate third.
Andy Davis picked up his second straight victory in Street Stock action while Curtis Busby won the Hot Shot feature event.
Talladega Short Track will take next weekend off for the "GVS Crate Nationals" and then be back in action on Saturday April 3rd featuring a full racing program along with an "Easter Egg Hunt for the Kids!" Gates will open at 4PM with hot laps at 6:15 and racing at 7PM.
