CREEL LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE; PREPARES FOR 9TH ANNUAL WINTER CLASSIC AT COLUMBUS

Ben Shelton
FRANKLINTON, La. (January 20) - Scott Creel has launched a redesigned website at www.VoodooDirt.com and is busily preparing his #31 Creel Brothers/Black Warrior Auctions/Mastersbilt/Pro Power Racing Engine Super Late Model for the 9th Annual Winter Classic.

Scott Creel opened the season two weeks ago as he traveled to Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama for the 19th Annual Ice Bowl. The team originally planned to just do some testing on Thursday and Friday, and then head home, but after turning several strong laps, they opted to stay and enter the event. On Saturday with 52 Super Late Models on hand, Scott started 8th in his heat race, and midway through the event, wasn't making up any ground on a one groove track, and decided to save his equipment and retired from the event. He elected to skip Sunday's b-main and headed back home.

This weekend, Scott and Voodoo Motorsports will invade Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi for the 9th Annual Winter Classic. On Friday, January 22nd an Open Practice Session will be held. Racing action will get underway on Saturday, January 23rd with time trials, b-mains, and a 40 lap feature event. The event pays $3,000 to win and $300 to start. For more information on the event, please visit www.ColumbusSpeedway.net .

Voodoo Motorsports would like to thank all of their sponsors including Black Warrior Auction Company LLC, Creel Brothers, J&J Motorsports, Pro Power Racing Engines, All Star Performance, GW Performance, Randy LaJoie Racing Seats, Mastersbilt Race Cars, Ohlins Shocks, Hoosier Racing Tires, Xtreme Graphics By J-Rod, MSRMafia.com, Team Voodoo Racing, and ASI Racewear.
