SHAVER ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR 2010 RACING SEASON, GEORGIA AND FLORIDA SPEEDWEEKS

WD Enterprises
VIENNA, W.V. (January 18) - Steve Shaver is excited to announce his upcoming plans for the 2010 racing season beginning with the Georgia and Florida Speedweeks.

Steve has partnered with the Rumleys Motorsports team based in North Carolina to drive their cars on a limited schedule in 2010 beginning at the Super Bowl of Racing at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, GA on January 28th-30th. "I am really looking forward to the opportunity to drive for Kevin and Leroy, not only in GA, but at other selected races in 2010. They have Rocket cars which I'm very familiar with and always field top notch equipment that can win anytime they unload. I'm really looking forward to driving their cars", stated Steve.

After the events in Georgia Steve will travel to East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa Florida and compete in all six nights of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned events beginning February 1st through the 6th. Steve will be driving the newly designed C.J. Rayburn factory chassis house car at East Bay Raceway Park. Steve has had success in the past winning several events at East Bay in years past and hopes to continue that success this year driving the Rayburn house car. "In the past we have had success with C.J.'s cars and hope for great results this year at East Bay. I have tremendous respect for C.J. and appreciate the chance to drive for him in the Lucas Oil Sanctioned races in Tampa", stated Steve.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series have released the 2010 racing schedule that currently shows 41 confirmed dates in 19 different states. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series national tour will kick off at the "Clay by the Bay" February 1st with the six straight nights of action packed racing of the 34th Annual DART Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL. DART will again crown a DART Winternationals Champion based on points for the week of racing at East Bay Raceway Park.
