TYRONE, Ga. (January 14) - A last minute decision to compete ultimately paid big dividends for Tony Knowles last weekend as he claimed the 19th Annual Ice Bowl title in the Limited Late Model division.

After originally planning to just spectate at the 19th Annual Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama over the course of last weekend, Tony made the last minute decision to pilot Barney Mayfield's #102 GRT in the Limited Late Model division. Tony would race his way into the lead early on, and would go on to pick up the Limited Late Model feature win in his first event of the 2010 season!

Tony's next event will come on Saturday, January 23rd at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi in the 9th Annual Winter Classic behind the wheel of his #26 RSD Enterprises/SAE Parts/Rocket Chassis/Custom Race Engine Super Late Model.
