Ben Shelton
VICKSBURG, Miss. (January 5) - Throughout the course of the 2009 season, Bub McCool and McCool Motorsports promoted their "Bub's Wish Campaign 2009," and this past Monday, the program culminated with an extremely nice donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Bub McCool proudly presented the Make-A-Wish Foundation with $5,100 on Monday, January 4th. The money was raised throughout the course of the 2009 season via raffle tickets, t-shirt sales, and donations. The $5,100 was enough to grant a complete wish to a sick child via the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The entire McCool family would like to extend their great appreciation to everyone, who helped make this fundraiser a great success. The team is already making plans to do another great fundraiser for the 2010 season, and details will be released in the coming weeks.

Bub McCool is also proud to announce that a brand new website, designed by MSRMafia.com, has been launched at www.BubMcCool.com .

Bub McCool's plans for the upcoming weekend are uncertain as he is considering taking his #57J Halloween-Themed/McCool Logging/Trakstar/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle in the 19th Annual Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama. Time trials and heat races will be held on Saturday, January 9th with b-mains and the finale event slated for Sunday, January 10th. However, with winter weather and extreme cold temperatures in the forecast, the team is still in limbo on traveling to the event, and will make a decision later in the week, so please stay tuned to www.BubMcCool.com for the latest team plans. For more information on the event, please visit www.TalladegaShortTrack.com .

Bub and everyone at McCool Motorsports would like to thank all of their sponsors, which include McCool Logging, Jay Dickens Racing Engines, Trak-Star Race Cars, Phase 2 Sign Supply, Good Hope Lumber, X-Treme Graphics by J-Rod, Boland Performance, Phase II Graphics, & MSRMafia.com.
