NEWBERRYTOWN, Penn. (April 25) - In only his third start of the his first full season of Late Model racing, East Berlin's Scott Fisher picked up the 20-lap feature victory at the Susquehanna Speedway Park on Saturday night. Craig Morgan of Halifax also made his way to victory lane winning the 20-lap Street Stock main feature event. Spring Grove's Mike Zeigler Jr. three race win streak ended as Lancaster's Ray Broderick won an exciting 20-lap Xtreme Stock Car feature. Dover's Curtis Shue was victorious in the XSC Rookie Rumble. Frank Polimeda of Fort Lee (NJ) collected the 15-lap Legends Cars main event. New Oxford's Roy Denike won the inaugural Road Warrior feature event.

From the front row, Carl Graves grabbed the early lead over Scott Fisher in the 20-lap Late Model feature. During the first eight lap (after six caution flag periods), Fisher was able to take the lead from Graves on lap six. From the eighth lap, the feature continued non-stop with Graves and Pat Beard searching the entire track for the right time to take the lead back, but Fisher's steady line held off all challenges from the two veteran Late Model drivers. The 23-year old Fisher was surrounded by a large crowd of family and friends in an electric victory lane. Beard finished second over Graves. Charles Potts found the groove in the late stages of the race to finish fourth of Billy Wampler in fifth. Qualifying heat races were won by Steve Bailor and Bud Witmer.
