CUMBERLAND, Md. (April 25) - Tim Smith Jr. paced the field to his first of the season on Saturday night at The Rock, Allegany County Speedway.

Smith and Terry Norris ended the two-race win streaks of D.J. Troutman and Marcius VanMeter in the Limited Late Models and Hobby Stocks, respectively. Dave Brown and Ryan Peer returned to victory lane in the Street Stocks and Factory Stock 4-Cylinders. Ray Shepherd picked up the win in the Factory Stock 6/8-Cylinder feature.

Smith led the entire 20-lap feature after jumping ahead of pole-sitter Matt Emerick shortly after the green flag. Smith set the tone early by pulling away from Emerick.

Daniel Cornman placed in the runner-up spot for the second straight week. After starting sixth, Cornman got by Emerick for second on lap seven.

Mike Shoemaker finished third over Darrell Dick. Travis Stickley was fifth, his first top-five of the season.

Troutman was running as high as fifth before suffering a flat tire with one lap to go. The caution set up a one-lap dash to the checkered flag. Smith ended up eight car lengths ahead of Cornman.
